I am your hostess this week and I have chosen: watermelon wonder, crushed curry, pumpkin pie and a dessert of your favorite green. This is my second card for today (I actually cheated on my own challenge and used 2 of my favorite greens!).
For this card, I first embossed the rectangle frame on my card front by embossing with a nestability die (you just have to use a different “sandwich” so it embosses rather than cuts). Then I stamped my tulips (a triple stamp flower, so I was able to use all 3 colors), and sentiment, put the die back in place (used washi tape to hold it there), and then sponged my greens. Then I removed the die and added the smaller stamp in several places. Added sequins and ta-da – a one layer card!

I have tulips like those, love how you replicated the brilliant colors. Your technique with the frame is fabulous (note to self-must try that!). A totally gorgeous card, Maura!

Stunning! Wow! The tulips are amazing. The white frame is awesome and adds something special. Love the use of the green sponging and stamping. Cute birthday sentiment; I haven't seen that one before. Great card. Lovely example of a way to use the colors. TFS

I am keeping this one too to try that frame idea!
So lovely...those step flowers are fascinating..they have a sketchy kind of look to them you captured so well...and your leaf choice...really like the contrast of shapes.
